Vivienne Conoolly holding a childQ. How do you manage to juggle life as a busy mum of two young children with a successful career and find time for charity work like appearing on Charity You’re a Star?

A. Well firstly, I have help at home. And my husband Mark is a real hands-on father so that makes a big difference. I make sure that work fits around my family life rather than the other way around. As for charity events like You're a Star, it's important to give something back so I make a very conscious effort to find the time.

Q. How important is organic food for you and your family?

A. I would describe organic food as vitally important for me and my family and my preference is always to buy local. For example, for fruit and vegetables, I go to my local green grocers who has a great range of fresh organic produce.

Q. As a model, what’s the strangest job you ever had to do?

A. Well, I was once body painted from head to toe ...

A.  Unfortunately, I don't think there are any miracles or short cuts. The old ones are the best: good nutrition, drinking lots of water and getting plenty of sleep all pay off. As for a make-up must-have, my favourite is Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat.

Q. What would surprise people about you?

A. Sadly, you don’t get to keep the clothes when you're a model ;-) That always surprises people but the truth is it's just not wall-to-wall freebies! The other thing that comes as a surprise to some people is that I'm far more into the home life and family than all the parties, events and social engagements.

Q. What’s the secret to happiness?

A. I believe a simple life makes for happiness. Be true to yourself and look for happiness in your family and your relationships.
