Glenisk at Bloom 2011

Once again we were delighted to participate at Bloom 2011, which was held in Dublin’s Phoenix Park during the June bank holiday weekend. This year’s event was bigger than ever with a whopping 90,000 people attending this celebration of Irish food and horticulture, which was held over five days.

The Orb Show Garden

Glenisk sponsored Anne Hamilton’s beautiful Orb show garden, which won a silver medal at the show. Celebrity chef Rozanne Stevens was also on hand to BBQ some delicious pineapple served with Glenisk Organic Crème Fraiche, which was sampled to the lovely spectators from Anne’s garden.  Watch Rozanne’s recipe video for step by step instructions on how to make this scrumptious summer dessert.

Over the Bloom weekend we handed out 17,000 free Glenisk Organic Yogurts and 7,000 samples of Rozanne’s BBQ Pineapple with Glenisk Organic Crème Fraiche! Many of our friends and customers stopped by to say hello, as well as some well-known faces, including President Mary McAleese and Senator Martin McAleese, and Munster rugby player, Niall Ronan.  You can check out our Bloom highlights by watching the video clip below.
